Uses & Benefits:

Ranitidine is an H2-receptor antagonist that reduces stomach acid production. It is primarily used for:

• Acid reflux & GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease)
• Peptic ulcers (gastric & duodenal ulcers)
• Heartburn & indigestion (Dyspepsia)
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome (excess acid production)
• Esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus due to acid reflux)

Dosage & Effects:

Adults & Children (12 years and older):

• 75 mg (5 ml) once or twice daily, as needed, preferably before meals or at bedtime.

Children (under 12 years):

• Dose is based on body weight and should be prescribed by a doctor.

• Headache
• Nausea
